iPhone 17 series launching in September and Apple\u2019s official date is already confirmed. The lineup is expected to have four models, which includes the iPhone 17 Pro series. The most-premium of the lot is the iPhone 17 Pro Max which is likely to get some advanced features and notable design changes to make it look different from its successor. <\/span><\/p>\n

These improvements could have a direct impact on how much the new model costs but here\u2019s a round up of everything that the iPhone 17 Pro Max could get compared to the 16 series this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Display<\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Reports suggest Apple iPhone 17 Pro is likely to offer anti-reflective displays with a scratch resistant layer to keep it protected. It might not sound like a big deal for now, but after seeing its use and purpose on the iPad Pro 2024 model, it seems imperative that at least the iPhone 17 Pro variants get it this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Apple could be making a host of changes to the flagship iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models this year and Titanium could be another big feature missing from the premium devices. The fact that Apple could ditch titanium build for the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max clearly hints at a new direction for these products from the company. The change could help trim the size of the device but not by much.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Apple is tipped to bring the A19 Pro flagship chipset for its 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models. The A18 Pro is already far ahead of the rivals and Apple will be looking to widen the gap with the new SoC that will take the performance levels of the 17 Pro series higher. We could see them launch with 12GB\/16GB RAM this year to capitalise on the upcoming AI upgrades and Siri. The storage options could once again go as high as 1TB which pushes the price further.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Camera<\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Apple is rumoured to be taking the camera bar route with the iPhone 17 Pro series and the leaks have vouched for the change. People have criticised the size of the camera bump for the last few years, this module will at least allow Apple to balance the profile at the back. Apple could bring a full set of 48MP sensors for its triple camera system with this year\u2019s iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models. The brand is tipped to offer a new telephoto lens with up to 8x optical zoom which is higher than the 5x optical range available with the iPhone 16 Pro models.<\/span><\/p>\n

Battery<\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The leak about the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max getting a larger battery has been mentioned by a tipster from Korea this week. The leak even has the alleged iPhone 17 Pro Max render which suggests Apple could offer a 5,000mAh battery with its changed internals that allows the brand to accommodate a bigger unit. However, the charging speed for the new iPhone 17 Pro models is unlikely to change and no charger in the box once again.<\/span><\/p>\n
