EPFO is removing the guardianship certificate requirement for minors, enabling families of deceased members to receive funds without delays.<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

The Employees\u2019 Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is preparing to roll out its next big digital upgrade \u2014 EPFO 3.0 \u2014 aimed at transforming how 8 crore provident fund members access their savings.<\/p>\n

For decades, PF withdrawals, corrections, and claim settlements have been known for delays and paperwork headaches. But EPFO 3.0 promises to change that with automation, real-time tracking, and instant access to funds \u2014 all through a single, integrated platform.<\/p>\n

Big IT firms like Infosys, Wipro, and TCS have been roped in to build and maintain the system, signalling the government\u2019s intent to overhaul the PF experience for employees across the country.<\/p>\n

The launch was initially slated for June but got pushed back due to technical testing. Sources suggest the platform could go live soon:<\/p>\n
