Xiaomi is bringing its next HyperOS version this week, and dismissing the rumours around HyperOS 26, it has teased the new banner with the number 3 written above HyperOS. We first got insight into the new HyperOS version last month, where it was mentioned that Xiaomi could start its beta program for the Android 16-based version in August.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The company\u2019s usual OS roll out cycle has been slow over the years and it seems they are just going to start with the Android 16 beta program, hinting at a later release date for the stable version. Google has already offered the stable Android 16 update for Pixel users, albeit without the new UI changes.<\/span><\/p>\n

HyperOS 3 Unveiling This Week: What We Know<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The HyperOS 3 version will be officially shared on August 28 in China, as per the company teaser and we expect to hear more details about the latest OS from the brand for its devices.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Xiaomi plans to make design and interface changes for the new HyperOS update that will come with both Android 15 and 16 versions as per reports. The brand is promising improved UI smoothness and responsiveness which could be linked to the platform being lighter and taking less load of the heavy animations that Xiaomi has been known for many years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The company needs the Android 16 update to roll out for the premium 15 series devices first, so that people continue to trust the brand with its software focus. These are some of the Xiaomi devices that should get the HyperOS 3 beta version in the coming weeks:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
