As the nation prepares to welcome Lord Ganesha with grandeur this Ganesh Chaturthi 2025, actress Divyaa Agarwal<\/a> shared heartfelt details about her personal journey with faith, her special bond with paparazzi and the one wish she holds closest to her heart this year.<\/p>\n

In a chat with Bollywood Bubble, she reflected on her past struggles, cherished memories, and how her husband Apurva Padgaonkar helped her reconnect with spirituality.<\/p>\n

The actress opened up about her spiritual upbringing, revealing that her mother, being Sikh and her father, a Hindu, ensured she grew up learning both traditions equally. \u201cShe was a Sikh, and my dad was a Hindu. Toh dono dharm humein equally sikhaye gaye, aur dono hi humne bahut achhe se nibhaaye,” Divyaa explained, recalling how her family embraced festivals from both faiths with equal joy.<\/p>\n

But her father\u2019s passing created a painful disconnect. In her own words: \u201cLekin jab dad ki death hui, tab ek complete disconnect ho gaya. I lost that connection, completely disconnected. I think more than 2\u20132.5 years tak main dekhti tak nahi thi. Bas mann hi nahi karta tha.”<\/p>\n

For years, she struggled to reconnect with devotion until her husband unknowingly rekindled the spark.<\/p>\n

How Apurva Padgaonkar Helped Restore Her Faith<\/strong><\/p>\n

Apurva\u2019s arrival proved to be a turning point in her spiritual journey. Without telling her beforehand, he took her to the famous Shantadurga temple in Goa, and that moment reignited the feelings she thought she had lost forever.<\/p>\n

She reminisced: \u201cPhir connection wapas aaya when Apurva first time mujhe bina bataye Goa ke Shantadurga temple le gaya. Wahan se phir sab wapas aaya. Mangeshi, Shantadurga saare temples kiye, aur phir woh feeling wapas aa gayi.”<\/p>\n

Since then, her devotion has only grown stronger, and she believes her husband\u2019s presence in her life carries a spiritual reason as well. \u201cMujhe lagta hai kahi na kahi Apurva ka meri life mein aana ek spiritual reason bhi tha. Ganpati hum shuru se rakhte the, par ab jo feeling hai woh alag hi dikhti hai,” she said.<\/p>\n

Divyaa Agarwal on Her Bond with Paparazzi<\/strong><\/p>\n

Divyaa also shared how her connection with paparazzi goes back to her Splitsvilla days and has only grown stronger over the years.<\/p>\n

She credited her husband Apurva\u2019s friendly nature for strengthening that bond, noting, \u201cApurva\u2019s nature is very much like that \u2014 usko sabse zyada logon se baat karna pasand hai. Unko bas waise hi accha lagta hai agar koi puch le.”<\/p>\n

Divyaa Agarwal\u2019s Biggest Wish for 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the festive season approaches, Divyaa revealed the one thing she desires above all else. \u201cI think I just want happiness yaar. Usse badi cheez zindagi mein hai hi nahi,” she said with a smile. To her, happiness stands above wealth, fame, and everything else in life. \u201cYou know, there is nothing more than that. Happiness tops everything. Jahaan rahun, jaise bhi rahun bas khush rahun.”<\/p>\n

This year, Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations begin on 27th August 2025, with visarjan scheduled for 6th September 2025.<\/p>\n
