Sharad Mehra\u2019s upcoming film Mannu Kya Karegga? is all set to hit theatres on September 12. Directed by Ssanjay Tripathy, the film introduces two fresh talents, Vyom and Saachi Bindra<\/a>, in the lead roles. The trailer has already created a buzz among fans, and amid the excitement, the cast and crew are actively promoting the upcoming romantic comedy.<\/p>\n

A video from their recent promotional event has gone viral, where Vyom and Saachi were seen dancing live to the soulful tunes of folk legend Malini Awasthi. Vinay Pathak also joined the pair on stage.<\/p>\n

Malini Awasthi Lends Her Voice To Mannu Kya Karegga?\u2019s Song<\/strong><\/p>\n

Music plays a central role in the film. The soulful track Humnava, composed by Lalit Pandit has already won hearts. Another standout song from the film is Saiyaan, crooned by Malini Awasthi, who is often dubbed as \u201cFolk Queen” of India.<\/p>\n

In the viral video, Malini performs Saiyaan live with her bold and powerful voice, while Saachi, one of Bollywood\u2019s newest faces, dances with full expression and enthusiasm. Speaking about her experience, Malini shared,\u00a0 \u201cIt was a truly beautiful experience lending my voice to one of the most iconic songs of my journey, \u2018Saiyaan\u2019\u2014a song that has, in many ways, become my identity. This traditional gem from Awadh is one that people request me to sing wherever I travel, and it always carries the fragrance of our folk culture,” reported by IANS.<\/p>\n

Revealing how she came on board, Malini added,\u00a0 \u201cWhen Lalit ji called me one day and asked if I would sing it for a film, I immediately felt both joy and responsibility. Soon after, I came to Bombay and recorded it with a live orchestra, which was in itself such a rare and moving experience. Later, when I learnt that the makers wanted to feature me as well, it came as a wonderful surprise.”<\/p>\n

She further\u00a0 added, \u201cIn today\u2019s time, when all kinds of songs are being created, it makes me deeply happy to see filmmakers giving importance to music that belongs to our soil, to our traditions. It reflects the immense respect the writer, producer, and director hold for folk music. Meeting the young talents Vyom and Saachi was equally delightful\u2014they were so humble, so respectful, and it gave me great hope to see such sincerity in the next generation.”<\/p>\n

Alongside Vyom and Saachi Bindra, the film also stars Vinay Pathak, Kumud Mishra, Charu Shankar, and others in key roles.
