Mayoori married an NRI Aditya Dhillon in 2003, following which she moved to the US. Thereafter, she got an MBA in marketing and finance from Baruch College Zicklin School of Business. She began her corporate career as an Associate Media Manager at 360i, and then moved to Resolution Media (an Omnicom Media Group company) as Supervisor, Advertising Solutions.
