Tannishtha Chatterjee has revealed she has been battling with stage 4 oligo metastatic cancer.<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Tannishtha Chatterjee, known for her powerful performances in films like Shadows of Time, Brick Lane, Dekh Indian Circus, Parched and Beyond the Clouds, has shared a deeply moving update on her health. On Sunday, she revealed that she has been diagnosed with stage 4 oligo metastatic cancer and is facing the fight with remarkable courage.<\/p>\n

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Tannishtha uploaded two pictures, the first showing her smiling with her head shaved, and the second capturing a warm gathering with close friends including Divya Dutta, Lara Dutta, Shabana Azmi, Vidya Balan, Tanvi Azmi, Konkona Sen Sharma, and others.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on her journey, she wrote, \u201cThe last 8 months have been incredibly difficult, to put it mildly. As if losing my father to cancer was not enough, 8 months back I got diagnosed with stage 4 oligo metastatic cancer. But this post is not about pain \u2014 it\u2019s about love and strength.”<\/p>\n

Tannishtha also spoke about the unique challenges she faces as a single mother caring for both her young daughter and her 70-year-old mother, describing how overwhelming the responsibility can feel. Yet, amidst these struggles, she found a silver lining.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the darkest moments, I discovered an extraordinary kind of love, the kind that shows up, holds space, and never lets you feel alone. I found it in my amazing friends and my family, whose unwavering support brought genuine smiles to my face, even on the hardest days.”<\/p>\n

She went on to highlight the power of empathy in today\u2019s fast-paced world, \u201cIn a world racing towards AI and robots, it is the irreplaceable compassion of real, passionate humans that is saving me. Cheers to female friendships, the sisterhood that showed up for me with fierce love, deep empathy, and unstoppable strength. You know who you are \u2014 and I am endlessly grateful.”<\/p>\n

The post drew an outpouring of love from the film fraternity. Dia Mirza commented, \u201cWe love you Tan Tan.
