Govinda and Sunita Ahuja are once again making headlines for their divorce rumours. While the couple has yet to make an official statement, the actor\u2019s manager has dismissed the speculations, calling them rumours. And now, we finally have a reaction from within the family. Govinda and Sunita\u2019s daughter Tina Ahuja, too, has thrashed her parents\u2019 divorce rumours and claimed that they are very much together.<\/p>\n

In conversation with Hindustan Times, Tina Ahuja dismissed ongoing speculations about her parents, Govinda and Sunita Ahuja<\/a>, calling reports of their divorce baseless. Responding to the rumours, she said, \u201cIt\u2019s all rumours.” When asked how she reacts to such stories resurfacing online, Tina added, \u201cI don\u2019t pay attention to these rumours.”<\/p>\n

On being questioned about how her parents handle the constant chatter, she replied, \u201cKya bolun main? He is not even in the country.”<\/p>\n

Expressing gratitude, Tina further shared, \u201cI feel blessed to have a beautiful family and I am really grateful for all the concern, love, and support we have been receiving from the media, fans, and loved ones.”<\/p>\n

Sunita Ahuja addresses divorce during her YouTube vlog<\/strong><\/p>\n

In her recent vlog, Sunita Ahuja was seen addressing her divorce rumours with Govinda. She visited a temple where, while speaking to the priest, she said that she has been visiting Mahalaxmi Mandir since her childhood.<\/p>\n

She was seen breaking down in tears, while stating, \u201cWhen I met Govinda, I prayed to the Goddess that I should get married to him and have a good life. The Goddess fulfilled all my wishes\u2014she even blessed me with two children. But not every truth in life is easy; there are always ups and downs. Still, I have so much faith in the Goddess that whatever I am witnessing today, I know that whoever tries to break my home, Maa Kaali is there.”<\/p>\n

According to documents cited by Hauterrfly, Sunita Ahuja<\/a> filed for divorce in the Bandra Family Court on December 5, 2024, under Section 13 (1) (i), (ia), (ib) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, citing adultery, cruelty, and desertion as grounds. The court had summoned Govinda, but he reportedly failed to appear until a show-cause notice was issued in May 2025.<\/p>\n

Since June 2025, the couple has been attending court-mandated counselling. While Sunita has been present at the hearings in person, it remains uncertain whether Govinda himself has been making appearances.<\/p>\n
