Former India spinner Anil Kumble has called Cheteshwar Pujara a great ambassador of the game, adding that it was a privilege to have worked with the latter, as the star batter announced his retirement, 15 years after making his debut in the India whites against Australia in Bengaluru.<\/p>\n

Pujara<\/a> announced his retirement on social media, having played the last of 103 Tests two years ago.<\/p>\n

The decision to retire wasn\u2019t surprising considering the team\u2019s two other stalwarts, ace India batter Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, said goodbye to Tests ahead of the England tour earlier this year.<\/p>\n
