Sivakarthikeyan\u2019s much-awaited action thriller Madharaasi is all set to hit the big screens on September 5, 2025, and excitement around the film is steadily building. While fans await the trailer and soundtrack launch on August 24, buzz around the movie suggests that the team has already sealed deals for its OTT and satellite premieres.<\/p>\n

According to industry chatter, Madharaasi has reportedly closed an OTT deal with Amazon Prime Video, ensuring that the film will stream on the platform after its theatrical run. Additionally, the ZEE Network is said to have bagged the satellite rights, though the makers have yet to make an official announcement.<\/p>\n

The hype around Madharaasi continues to grow as the makers prepare for a star-studded trailer and audio launch event this weekend. Directed by AR Murugadoss, who returns to Tamil cinema after five years since Darbar (2020), the film features Sivakarthikeyan in a high-intensity role set against the northern regions of India. The story follows a man navigating a life-altering crisis, blending Murugadoss\u2019 signature mass storytelling with Anirudh Ravichander\u2019s electrifying music.<\/p>\n

The cast also includes Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, and Biju Menon in pivotal roles, alongside Shabeer Kallarakkal, Vikranth, Prem Kumar, and Sanjay. With such a lineup, Madharaasi is positioned as one of the biggest Tamil releases of the year.<\/p>\n
