Amid her divorce rumours with Govinda, Sunita Ahuja has made an emotional plea. In a recent interview, Sunita talked about her equation with the Bollywood actor and shared that there is nobody who understands him better than her. However, Sunita<\/a> also admitted that she misses the superstar version of her husband from the 90s.<\/p>\n

\u201cMere jitna Govinda ko koi nahi jaanega, aur kabhi zindagi mein nahi jaanega koi. (No one knows Govinda the way I do, and no one ever will),” Sunita tolf Eat Travel Repeat, as quoted by ETimes and then added, \u201cWoh, mere jaisa Govinda ko koi nahi pyaar kar sakta hai, naa koi usko itna samajh sakta hai. (No one can ever love Govinda the way I do, nor understand him the way I can).”<\/p>\n

Asked which version of Govinda<\/a> she preferred, Sunita shared that she misses the superstar of the 90s. She made a playful appeal and said, \u201cPurana Govinda, waapas aaja Govinda tu yaar. Mera Chi Chi tu aaja waapas Chi Chi, aaja mere paas Chi Chi. (Old Govinda, please come back\u2026 my Chi Chi, come back to me).”<\/p>\n

Sunita Ahuja, Govinda File For Divorce?<\/h4>\n

On Friday, Hauterrfly reported that Sunita Ahuja has filed for divorce from Govinda under Section 13 (1) (i), (ia), (ib) of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955. The report claimed that the court had summoned Govinda on May 25 and since June the two have been trying to work things out. While Sunita is quite punctual and has been appearing in court, Govinda has been missing.<\/p>\n

In her recent vlog, Sunita Ahuja was seen addressing the divorce rumours surrounding her marriage. Sunita visited a temple where, while speaking to the priest, she said that she has been visiting Mahalaxmi Mandir since her childhood.<\/p>\n

She further broke down in tears and added, \u201cWhen I met Govinda, I prayed to the Goddess that I should get married to him and have a good life. The Goddess fulfilled all my wishes\u2014she even blessed me with two children. But not every truth in life is easy; there are always ups and downs. Still, I have so much faith in the Goddess that whatever I am witnessing today, I know that whoever tries to break my home, Maa Kaali is there.”<\/p>\n

A Look At Govinda And Sunita\u2019s Love Story<\/h4>\n

Sunita and Govinda\u2019s love story began in the 1980s, and they tied the knot on March 11, 1987. Sunita is the sister-in-law of Govinda\u2019s uncle, Anand Singh, who worked as an assistant to legendary filmmaker Hrishikesh Mukherjee. The couple share two children\u2014daughter Tina Ahuja, who briefly stepped into Bollywood, and son Yashvardhan.<\/p>\n
