Rinku Singh has finally shared details of his love story with Priya Saroj, starting with liking each other’s photos on Instagram to full-blown love.<\/h2>\n

India and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star Rinku Singh has shared details of her long-term love story with fianc\u00e9, lawyer and politician, Priya Saroj.<\/p>\n

The middle-order batter said that they first started talking in 2022 when he came across Priya\u2019s photo on a fan page. Though he was hesitant to message her on Instagram, he gathered up the courage after seeing Priya like some of his photos.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt started in 2022 during the COVID years when IPL was in Mumbai,” Rinku told\u00a0News24<\/em>. \u201cI had a fan page that put up a photo of Priya about some voting in her village. Priya\u2019s sister shoots photos and videos, so I think she had asked the fan page to put up a photo for help. I saw the photo and I liked her. I thought she was perfect for me. I thought about texting her, but then I thought it won\u2019t be right,” he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe liked a couple of my photos. Then I texted her on Instagram, and that\u2019s how it all started. Then we started talking. In a week or two, we were talking regularly, talking before matches. So, I started feeling the love from 2022,” Rinku said.<\/p>\n

The couple got engaged in June this year. Initially, they were supposed to tie the knot in November, but the wedding has been delayed due to the Indian domestic cricket season and a series of tournaments coming up for the international side.<\/p>\n

\u2018We used to speak a lot, but now it has decreased\u2019: Rinku Singh<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Rinku further said he was delighted when Priya became MP last year, and spoke proudly about her social work, though admitting that their relationship has been slightly affected since her election.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere has been no such change; it\u2019s just initially, we used to speak a lot, but now it has decreased significantly,” Rinku said. \u201cShe does her work, goes to the villages, talks to people and helps them, plus there\u2019s also the parliament\u2026 but it\u2019s important for her that she does all this groundwork as a politician\u2026 If you go to her Instagram, you\u2019d see how much she works. She goes in the morning, comes back at night so we don\u2019t get much time to talk and only talk at night,” he added.<\/p>\n

Rinku is part of India\u2019s Asia Cup squad with the tournament set to begin in September.<\/p>\n
