Bal Thackeray\u2019s grandson Aaishvary Thackeray is all set to make his acting debut with Anurag Kashyap\u2019s next, Nishaanchi. The movie is all set to hit theatres in September, and the first look from the crime drama was unveiled yesterday, on July 31. The first look of the film gives dark 80\u2019s action thriller vibes, featuring Aaishvary in two different avatars.<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s not disclosed whether he has a double role or is just going to don two different looks, the poster is already making an amazing first impression. Apart from Aaishvary, Nishaanchi also stars Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Kumud Mishra in pivotal roles.<\/p>\n

While sharing Nishaanchi\u2019s first look<\/a>, the makers wrote on Instagram, \u201cPoster chapwa diye hai, ab lagne waale hai. #Nishaanchi coming to theatres near you on September 19.” As soon as the poster was dropped, fans started reacting to it.<\/p>\n

One wrote, \u201cAyo Anurag Kashyap movie in 2025? That too in theatres? Long live cinema.” \u201cDhamaka hai Dhamaka!!! \ud83d\udd25!! Loved it,” another one commented. A third fan shared, \u201cAsli manoranjan, seeti maar kirdaar, iconic fillam, bahut jald nazdeeki cinemagharon main!!!”. \u201cAaaagggg\ud83d\udd25\ud83d\udd25\ud83d\udd25” reads another comment.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, several A-listers, including Bhumi Pednekar and Anurag Kashyap himself, also reacted to the poster.<\/p>\n

Aaishvary Thackeray started his journey as an assistant director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He worked with him on the sets of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh\u2019s Bajirao Mastani.<\/p>\n

As per reports, Aaishvary Thackeray has been honing his skills for the past five years<\/a>, ensuring a solid Bollywood debut.<\/p>\n

As for his social media presence, Aaishvary keeps a low profile, with only 11K followers on Instagram. Till now, he has shared only five posts, with the latest being the announcement of his upcoming film with Anurag Kashyap. Among other posts is a nostalgic photo with his grandfather.<\/p>\n

Aaishvary Thackeray\u2019s Nishaanchi was announced on Monday, June 16, with a video. \u201cLights, camera, action. Yeh fillam dekhne ke liye taiyyar ho jao. #Nishaanchi, releasing at a theatre near you, September 19,” the side note read.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the film, Nishaanchi, Anurag Kashyap told Variety, \u201cWe wrote Nishaanchi in 2016. Since then, I have been looking to make this film the way it should be, and was looking for a studio that trusted me to do that wholeheartedly.”<\/p>\n
