Rajesh Khanna may have been Bollywood\u2019s first superstar, but at home, he lived no less than a king. In a recent chat, his alleged girlfriend Anita Advani recalled how the late actor demanded grand spreads of food every single day \u2013 even when he wanted something as simple as a parantha.<\/p>\n

\u2018Every Meal Had To Look Royal\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking on the YouTube channel Reel Meets Real with Pooja Samant, Anita shared that Khanna expected a lavish variety of dishes on the table. \u201cHe had about 6-7 staff members and a cook was always there in the house. I would also cook for him sometimes. Like he really enjoyed \u2018chhole\u2019 so I learnt to make that with \u2018bhaturas\u2019. He really liked all of that. He enjoyed eating such dishes. He was quite a foodie,” she said.<\/p>\n

She remembered how even paranthas had to come in multiple versions. \u201cLike when he wanted paranthas, he would ask us to make one each of aloo, mooli, gobhi. He would take a bite from each of the paranthas,” she revealed.<\/p>\n

Rajesh Khanna Wanted Dosa Daily, 10 Dishes Minimum<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Anita, Khanna\u2019s table was never complete with fewer than ten food items. \u201cHe wanted dosa every day. He wouldn\u2019t like it if there were less than 10 items on the table. Me and the staff of the house wouldn\u2019t understand what to do,” she recalled.<\/p>\n

When asked if the rest of the food was wasted, Anita clarified that the staff would eat the same dishes prepared for him. \u201cEven the staff would eat the same thing. The staff wouldn\u2019t eat separately,” she said.<\/p>\n

\u2018Are We Refugees?\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

His alleged partner also remembered Khanna\u2019s sharp wit at mealtimes. \u201cIf you didn\u2019t serve him food with so many options, he would ask \u2018Hum refugee hain kya? Khana nahi dete (Are we refugees? That there\u2019s no food\u2019)\u2019,” she revealed.<\/p>\n

Despite his love for variety, Anita added that Khanna was \u201ca frugal eater” who eventually ate only two chapatis.<\/p>\n

Rajesh Khanna Second Wife Anita Advani<\/strong><\/p>\n

Anita Advani has claimed that\u00a0Rajesh Khanna secretly got married to her when they lived together. Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia tied the knot in 1973, but their marriage hit a rough patch within a decade, leading to separation without divorce. While they chose to remain legally married despite living apart, Rajesh reportedly began living with former actor Anita Advani in 2004, a relationship that continued until his death. Rajesh Khanna passed away in 2012 at the age of 69 after battling cancer.<\/p>\n
