Shah Rukh Khan has arrived for the grand preview launch of his son Aryan Khan\u2019s directorial debut series \u2018The Ba***ds Of Bollywood\u2019. He was seen interacting with the cast members of the series during the event. In an interaction with Mona Singh, SRK said that Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi was his favourite show, and that he loved Mona\u2019s performance in it. However, he said that he has one complaint- that Mona often portrays mother roles on-screen despite being only 43! She playfully replied that since Shah Rukh plays the young hero in Jawan, someone has to play the mother. Reacting to this, King Khan promised her a lead role opposite him the next time!<\/p>\n

Shah Rukh Khan And Mona Singh\u2019s Interaction<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the preview launch of \u2018The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan told Mona Singh, \u201cBohot saalon se kehta aa raha hu, ki mera favourite show tha Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi. Usmein meri ek favourite cheez thi Mona. Aur aaj bhi mujhe aisa lagta hai ki Mona Jaisi koi nahi. But ek complain hai yaar. Chhoti si umar mein bhi ye mummy ka role kyu karti ho yaar tum? Bohot achha karti ho. (I\u2019ve been saying for years that my favourite show was Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. And there was one thing I especially loved in it \u2014 Mona. Even today, I feel like there\u2019s no one like Mona. But I do have one complaint. Why are you playing a mom even at such a young age? You do it so well though).”<\/p>\n

Replying to this, Mona Singh said, \u201cShah Rukh ab main kya bolu yaar? Aap hero Jawan banke baithe huye ho. Toh kisi na kisiko toh mummy ka role karna padega na? How will I get younger roles? (Shah Rukh, what can I even say, yaar? You\u2019re playing the hero in Jawan. So someone or the other had to play the mom, right? How will I ever get younger roles?).” Responding to this, Shah Rukh Khan promised her a lead role opposite him! \u201cAgli baar hum dono karenge saath mein. Pakka. 100 percent! (Next time, we\u2019ll do something together. Promise. 100 percent!).”<\/p>\n

Mona Singh\u2019s Mother Roles<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the unversed, Mona Singh played the role of Abhay Verma\u2019s mother in the film \u2018<\/span>Munjya<\/span>\u2018, which released in June last year. She was also seen as Gurpreet Kaur <\/span>Chaddha<\/span>, Laal\u2019s mother, in Aamir Khan\u2019s 2022 film Laal Singh <\/span>Chaddha<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Aryan Khan\u2019s directorial debut \u2018The Ba***ds Of Bollywood\u2019 stars Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, and\u00a0Gautami\u00a0Kapoor.<\/p>\n

Aryan serves as the creator and director, and is working alongside co-creators and writers Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, the show reportedly dives into the eccentric world of aspirants, hustlers, and dreamers who navigate the chaos of the Hindi film industry.<\/p>\n
