Samsung’s new display tech promises users privacy<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Samsung\u2019s next big launch in 2026 promises to bring more privacy-focused features that could help people in many ways. The next Galaxy S26 models are not expected before early 2026 but leaks this week suggest the S26 Ultra model could get some useful display upgrades that focus on your privacy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We have seen third-party privacy screens in the market that let you stop people from peeking into your phone, especially when you are trying to send money or chatting with someone. Samsung is reportedly going to have this tech built into the display with its next flagship as per new reports.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Samsung\u2019s Privacy Display Is Coming: What We Know<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The report from Korea suggests Samsung is ready to deploy one of the display panels that were showcased last year. The Galaxy S26 Ultra display could come with Flex Magic Pixel technology which basically adjusts the screen\u2019s viewing angle to block bystanders from looking into your phone. The company will even combine its functionality with AI to make user privacy even more stronger.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The privacy screens are not new and come at a budget for many models, but the big difference with Samsung\u2019s version is that the display brightness will switch to lower brightness to support the screen privacy without completely going dark. We are eager to see how the new display works out on the Ultra variant, which also gets the anti-reflective panel and people have found it very effective.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Samsung seems to have big plans with the S26 lineup, which could get a major overhaul. Latest reports say the company could bring a Pro model and ditch the Plus variant, while bringing the new Edge model and end the regular S26 moniker altogether.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One UI 8 Beta Roll Out Continues<\/strong><\/p>\n

Samsung has started the One UI 8 roll out for the older Galaxy devices earlier this month. The new Android 16-based update made its debut with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 launch in July and now more devices are getting the One UI version that will be coming to other models later this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Samsung lets them sign up for the One UI 8 public beta program to receive the Android 16-based version which will eventually come in the full release later this year. Samsung\u2019s One UI 7 issues are well known so it seems the brand is looking to redeem itself with its efforts for One UI 8 version, bringing it before Google on its new products. <\/span><\/p>\n
