Stock Market Today<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Sensex Today: <\/strong>Equity benchmarks BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50 began Tuesday\u2019s session on a muted note, with no major market-moving cues.<\/p>\n

The Sensex rose 82 points, or 0.10%, to 81,355 in early trade, while the Nifty50 added 26 points, or 0.11%, to 24,906.<\/p>\n

In the broader market, both the Nifty MidCap and Nifty SmallCap indices edged higher by 0.2% each.<\/p>\n

Global Cues<\/strong><\/p>\n

Asian markets were trading lower on Tuesday, following overnight weakness on Wall Street. Japan\u2019s Nikkei 225 was down 0.14%, while South Korea\u2019s KOSPI slipped 0.54%.<\/p>\n

After his White House meeting, Zelensky signaled readiness to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin directly in a bid to end the conflict.<\/p>\n

In the US, equity markets ended largely flat as investors awaited major retail earnings and Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell\u2019s speech at the annual Jackson Hole summit. The S&P 500 closed marginally lower, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped 0.07%.<\/p>\n
