The post, which featured Shahid Kapoor as Guddu and Priyanka as Sweety Bhope, marked the film\u2019s 16-year anniversary. Priyanka recalled being offered the role while shooting Dostana in Miami. She revealed: \u201cI remember him telling me the story and I said, \u2018Well, she has approximately 8 scenes.\u2019 And he said, \u2018With us working on it, it will end up being so much more. Trust me.\u2019 And I did. He promised he would make something incredible for me after this in appreciation for doing the part. But honestly, I was just greedy to work with him. A few years later, we did 7 Khoon Maaf.”<\/p>\n

Director Vishal Bhardwaj, who helmed Kaminey, reshared Priyanka\u2019s post on Instagram with an emotional tribute. He wrote: \u201cAsk me how much I miss those days. You have been one of the finest collaborations of my career. Remember one day, when you got angry, I handwrote a poem on a napkin and sent it to manaoo you. \u2018Doosri jangaleedam ko khatam huye bhi beetein saal. Ab bhi kuch Japani afsar chhupien mile hain duty par. Tum se kab ab milna hoga.. Kya ab bhi naraaz ho tum?\u2019”<\/p>\n

Responding warmly, Priyanka replied, \u201cHahaha aapse kaun naraaz reh sakta hai? Aaiye milne.”<\/p>\n

The heartwarming exchange between the actor and director set social media abuzz, with fans celebrating their bond and demanding more collaborations in the future.<\/p>\n
