South Korean boy band BTS<\/a> has a soft spot for sports. The septet often takes fans, popularly known as the BTS Army, on a musical ride with their top-tier songs. But not many are aware of the team\u2019s love for sports. For example, SUGA has already taken the role of a global ambassador for the NBA. On the other hand, the other members are often spotted at courtsides simply to soak in the fun of a match. Now, things have taken a whole new turn and for the better.<\/p>\n

The baseball team Los Angeles Dodgers, has announced that BTS\u2019s Kim Taehyung, better known as V, will be the guest of honour at their August 25 game against the Cincinnati Reds at their home ground, Dodger Stadium. The Los Angeles-based team shared the announcement via X on Sunday, August 17. \u201cARMY, you ready? V will be at Dodger Stadium on 8\/25 to throw out the ceremonial first pitch!” they captioned the post.<\/p>\n

BTS Army Reacts To V\u2019s \u2018Ceremonial First Pitch\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

The BTS Army was overjoyed upon coming across the news. \u201cHe looks extremely excited,” pointed out one user in jest. \u201cWait, this was our August surprise?” asked another, clearly happy with the pleasant surprise. \u201cExcited does not even begin to cover it. Taehyung is going to rock the stadium,” noted a fan. The common sentiment was \u201cCan\u2019t wait.”<\/p>\n

In other news, V, alongside SUGA, Jungkook, Jimin, J-Hope, Jin and RM, have completed their mandatory 18-month military training. The septet reunited for a concert, Hope On The Stage, in Seoul back in February, making it a special occasion both for themselves and the BTS Army.<\/p>\n

V Recalls Emotional Moment At Hope On The Stage Tour<\/strong><\/p>\n

V, in a recent interview with W Korea on YouTube, confessed that he turned emotional after watching J-Hope and Jungkook on the stage together. He said, \u201cI cried during Hobi\u2019s concert. During the duet with Jungkook, I got choked up. It was a secret because I was embarrassed. I was too embarrassed to say anything. Let\u2019s keep this just between us.”<\/p>\n

Workwise, V unveiled his latest photobook, Reve, on February 3 this year.<\/p>\n
