Former Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders batter Colin Munro opened the innings for Trinbago Knight Riders on Sunday (August 17) against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in St Kitts and scored 120 runs from 57 balls. The knock of 120 runs at Warner Park in Basseterre, St Kitts, helped Munro equal Faf du Plessis\u2019 record of the highest individual score by an overseas batter in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).<\/p>\n

During the St Lucia Kings and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots match played in Basseterre on September 4, 2021, Du Plessis scored 120 runs from just 60 balls as an opening batter.<\/p>\n

During his stay at the crease in that match, Faf hammered 13 fours and 5 sixes. On the other hand, Munro, who also has three centuries to his name in T20Is, smacked 14 fours and 6 sixes on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The record of the highest individual score in the CPL is in the name of West Indies batter Brandon King. During the Qualifier 1 match of the 2019 CPL match played between Guyana Amazon Warriors and Barbados Tridents in Providence on October 6, he hammered 132 runs from 72 balls.<\/p>\n
