Here’s how much Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR’s War 2 earned in three days.<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

War 2 Box Office Collections Day 3:<\/strong> Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR\u2019s much-anticipated film, co-starring Kiara Advani, released on August 14, clashing with Rajinikanth\u2019s Coolie. While the film raked in a decent amount for two days, War 2<\/a> saw a big drop in collection on the third day. The film now trails far behind Coolie, however, it raked in more money than Salman Khan\u2019s Sikandar.<\/p>\n

War opened to a staggering Rs 52 crore at the box office. On Day 2, the numbers hiked by 10.29 per cent, minting Rs 57.35 crore. However, Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR\u2019s film saw a big drop in collection on Day 3 by earning Rs 33 crore (early estimates). It saw an overall Hindi occupancy of 31.42% on Saturday, August 16. The total collection of War 2 stands at Rs 142.35 crore. However, there are chances the numbers could take a different turn after its first weekend in theatres.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Raijinikanth\u2019s Coolie<\/a> is witnessing grear box office numbers. The film minted Rs 300 crore at the global box office.<\/p>\n

How is Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR\u2019s War 2?<\/strong><\/p>\n

News18 Showsha rated War 2<\/a> with a 2.5\/5 stars. An excerpt from our review read: \u201cAt 2 hours 50 minutes, War 2 tries to go full throttle but often skids into chaos. A thriller of this scale definitely needed crisper editing. Instead, what we get is a bunch of long-drawn flashbacks that dilute the pace, stripping the film of any solid edge-of-the-seat, nail-biting moment. But what needs to be truly spoken about are its action sequences. One thing is clear \u2013 Kabir and Vikram\/Rahu are immortal. Nothing can kill them. Bullets, swords, fire, icicles, nothing. Most importantly, they can fly. They fly over land and water.<\/p>\n

Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR\u2019s War 2 fee revealed<\/strong><\/p>\n

The buzz around War 2 just got bigger. Earlier, reports revealed that Jr NTR is being paid a massive Rs 70 crore fee for the film, while Hrithik Roshan will take home Rs 50 crore along with backend earnings. Now, fresh reports suggest that the South superstar has also struck a lucrative profit-sharing deal.<\/p>\n

According to Bollywood Hungama, Yash Raj Films (YRF) has sold the Telugu rights of War 2 outright to producer Naga Vamsi for an impressive Rs 90 crore. A source told the portal, \u201cNaga Vamsi has acquired Telugu rights for War 2 for Rs 90 crore. Every profit from the Telugu theatrical medium will now go to Naga Vamsi, while YRF has received an outright recovery of Rs 90 crores on a budget of Rs 400 crore. The Telugu case has been settled between the parties.”<\/p>\n

Interestingly, NTR Jr has also negotiated a share of the profits from the Telugu version. \u201cAfter receiving a large salary of Rs 70 crores, NTR Jr. is also entitled to a portion of the revenues from the Telugu version of Naga Vamsi. He is anticipated to earn more than Rs 100 crore by the end of the run, as the Telugu version of War 2 is expected to generate significant earnings. The profits from Telugu will be split between NTR Jr. and Vamsi, not YRF or Hrithik,” the trade source added.<\/p>\n

Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra, War 2 is the latest entrant in the YRF Spy Universe. Starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani, the high-octane action entertainer released on August 14, 2025, in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.<\/p>\n
