Ever since Anurag Kashyap<\/a> teased his upcoming project Nishaanchi, the audience has been going gaga over the film. Nishaanchi marks the acting debut of late politician Balasaheb Thackeray\u2019s grandson, Aaishvary Thackeray. The makers unveiled the movie\u2019s teaser on August 8, which received a positive response from fans. Now, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has also joined the bandwagon, heaping praise on this Anurag Kashyap directorial. On Friday, August 15, he shared Nishaanchi\u2019s first song, Dear Country, on his Instagram Stories, affirming that the film is worth the \u201cwait.”<\/p>\n

Reviewing Nishaanchi, Imtiaz Ali wrote, \u201cWait for this film, guys. Anurag Kashyap is at his best. Stunning performances by Monica Panwar, Aaishvary Thackeray (unbelievable), and Raghav.”<\/p>\n

Nishaanchi Teaser<\/p>\n

Sharing Nishaanchi\u2019s teaser on X, Anurag Kashyap wrote, \u201cTayyari kar di hai! Emosan ka tadka, actsan ka dhamaka, aur gulel, katta, gaadi, ghoda toh hai hi bhaiya. (All set! A dash of emotion, an explosion of action, and of course, there is the slingshot, the pistol, the car, and even the horse, brother). Nishaanchi Teaser Out Now.”<\/p>\n

Nishaanchi, promising a blend of action, drama, and comedy, marks Anurag Kashap\u2019s return to \u2018desi\u2019 storytelling that fans have seen in Gangs of Wasseypur and Maharaja, to name a few. The film has its roots in the hinterlands, revolving around two identical-looking brothers but whose different choices shape their destinies differently. Their complex bond is the highlight of the story as the duo embarks on divergent paths.<\/p>\n

Nishaanchi\u2019s Plot Featuring Aaishvary Thackeray<\/p>\n

Aaishvary Thackeray will portray a double role of the two brothers, Babloo and Dabloo, in Nishaanchi. As per the teaser, the story first introduces viewers to who is madly in love with the feisty and fierce Rinku, played by Vedika Pinto. While Babloo wants a gang of his own with Kamaal Ajeeb (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub), Dabloo\u2019s entry kicks off chaos and turmoil. Monika Panwar essays the character of Babloo and Dabloo\u2019s mother in the film. Kumud Mishra slips into the shoes of Ambika Chacha, adding more drama.<\/p>\n

Nishaanchi, presented by Amazon MGM Studios, is produced by Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh under the banner of Jar Pictures, in association with Flip Films. The movie is slated to premiere on September 19.<\/p>\n
