Dipika Kakar is currently recovering post-surgery after being diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer. The actress\u2019s family had kept her fans updated since then, and even Dipika <\/a>interacted with them after she came back home from the hospital. In the latest, she offered an emotional update on her recovery path and the joy of being able to be with her son once again. In her vlog, the actress shared that after a long time, she is able to hold her son Ruhaan on her lap again.<\/p>\n

Dipika Kakar Gets Emotional<\/strong><\/p>\n

In her recent vlog, Dipika Kakar said, \u201cRuhaan can sleep on my lap now after surgery as the stitches are finally healed. I can\u2019t carry him, but he can lie on my lap and sleep.” The actress was quite emotional as she noted that it was a very precious moment, as she was always worried if she would be able to fulfil her motherhood duties post-surgery. She added, \u201cBut now, when things are getting back to normalcy, all these small moments I value a lot.”<\/p>\n

The vlog also showed viewers her recent outing with spouse Shoa Ibrahim and Ruhaan, which included playful moments at a mall playzone and some much-needed self-care. Dipika has taken a break from television. Her spirit, however, remains strong and she treasures every step of her recuperation as well as the invaluable times she has with her child.<\/p>\n

Dipika Had A 14-hour-long surgery<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some weeks back, the actress appeared on her husband Shoaib Ibrahim\u2019s YouTube vlog, where she thanked everyone for their well wishes and provided an update on her health.<\/p>\n

Dipika Kakar revealed the devastating news about her cancer on social media a few months back. Dipika had a major 14-hour surgery on June 6.<\/p>\n

Dipika Kakar is known for television shows like Sasural Simar Ka and Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum. She was also the winner of Bigg Boss 12 and was recently seen in Celebrity MasterChef. She had to leave the reality show mid-way owing to some health complications and later her cancer was detected.<\/p>\n
