War 2 Box Office Day 1:<\/strong> Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani\u2019s high-octane spy thriller War 2 hit theatres on August 14, coinciding with the release of Rajinikanth\u2019s Coolie. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Yash Raj Films, the film opened to solid box office numbers despite clashing with another massive release. Fans flocked to theatres to watch the action-packed drama, curious to see Hrithik and Jr NTR share the screen for the first time.<\/p>\n

Despite mixed critical reviews, War 2 managed a strong Day 1 collection, proving the pull of its star cast and YRF branding.<\/p>\n

According to early estimates from Sacnilk, War 2 earned Rs 52.50 crore on its opening day across all languages. The Hindi version led the collections with Rs 29 crore, while Telugu contributed Rs 23.25 crore, and a minor Rs 0.25 crore came from other languages. <\/p>\n

While these numbers are impressive, Coolie edged ahead on Day 1, grossing around Rs 65 crore in India. Jr NTR, in an official statement, reflected on his collaboration with Hrithik Roshan, saying, \u201cI think mine and Hrithik Roshan garu\u2019s careers started at the same time. When I watched Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai long back, I went mad. He is one of the greatest dancers in the country right now. My journey started off by admiring him. After all these years, I got the chance to act and dance with him.”<\/p>\n

The film also features notable supporting actors including Anil Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, and a cameo by Bobby Deol, marking his introduction in Alpha and the expanding YRF spy universe.<\/p>\n

War 2: Audience Response And Critical Take<\/strong><\/p>\n

War 2 has been widely praised for the on-screen chemistry between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR.
