Mrunal Thakur is currently in the headlines for both personal and professional reasons. Besides the viral Bipasha Basu row, Mrunal is also in the news as her latest film, Son of Sardaar 2, is struggling at the box office. Adding to the chatter are rumours linking her to South superstar Dhanush. The actress was papped in town today as she headed out in chic casual wear.<\/p>\n

Mrunal Thakur was spotted in Mumbai in blue jeans paired with a beautiful blue top. She completed her look with a tan bag, wedge heels and chunky jewellery. The actress looked radiant with her hair open and her look tied together with a statement belt. Earlier today, Bipasha Basu seemingly reacted to Mrunal Thakur\u2019s viral throwback video in which the younger actress was shading her for her \u201cmanly” muscles. Bipasha Basu took to her Instagram Stories and shared a note that read, \u201cStrong women lift each other up. Get those muscles beautiful ladies\u2026 we should be strong\u2026 muscles help you attain good physical and mental health forever! Bust the age old thought process that women should not look strong or be physically strong!”<\/p>\n

While Bipasha did not name Mrunal in her Story, the timing suggests that she has reacted to the younger actress\u2019s jibe. For the unversed, in a resurfaced video, Mrunal Thakur and her co-star Arjit Taneja were seen giving an interview during their Kumkum Bhagya days. In a friendly moment between the two actors, Mrunal quipped that he might be interested in marrying a strong, muscular woman.<\/p>\n

Arjit agreed that he wanted to have a physically toned woman in his life. This led Mrunal to remark that he could choose Bipasha Basu. Mrunal Thakur said, \u201cDo you want to marry a girl who is manly with muscles? Go marry Bipasha.” She added, \u201cListen, I am far better than Bipasha, okay?” Mrunal Thakur is now facing flak as the resurfaced clip has gone viral across social media platforms. She is yet to react to the video or Bipasha\u2019s post.<\/p>\n
