The makers of Coolie have officially announced that pre-sales in North America have exceeded $2 million. According to the producers, Rajinikanth\u2019s unrivalled global fan following, the holiday release, and Lokesh Kanagaraj\u2019s stellar track record all contributed to this unusual demand. Experts anticipate that Coolie will become one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of all time. Coolie smashed previous Tamil film records. Rajinikanth\u2019s Kabali (2016), which grossed $1.9 million, was the highest pre-sales so far. Vijay\u2019s Leo (2023), The GOAT (2024), and PS1 (2022) were in the second, third, and fourth, respectively, with Jailer (2023) coming in fifth.<\/p>\n

The film marks Lokesh Kanagaraj\u2019s first collaboration with Rajinikanth and boasts an ensemble cast featuring Nagarjuna, Nimma Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, and Aamir Khan in pivotal roles. With massive advance sales, star power, and Lokesh Kanagaraj\u2019s action-packed storytelling, Coolie is set for a grand opening not just in India, but globally.
