The spokesperson added, \u201cOver 8,500 troops have been deployed, supported by a wide array of technological and operational resources.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key elements of Operation Shiva include:<\/strong><br \/>&#13;\n<\/p>\n<ul>&#13;<\/p>\n<li>A counter\u2011UAS grid with more than 50 anti\u2011drone and electronic warfare systems, alongside UAV missions and live route monitoring.<\/li>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<li>Engineer task forces for track widening, bridge construction, and disaster mitigation.<\/li>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<li>A comprehensive medical infrastructure: 150+ medical staff, two advanced dressing stations, nine aid posts, a 100\u2011bed field hospital, 26 oxygen booths with 200,000\u202fL of oxygen.<\/li>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<li>Logistical support: signal units, technical detachments, bomb disposal squads, emergency rations for 25,000 people, tent cities, water stations, bulldozers, and excavators.<\/li>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<li>Helicopter standby for rapid response.<\/li>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<li>Real\u2011time tracking of yatri convoys using high\u2011resolution PTZ cameras and drone feeds, ensuring swift, coordinated responses by multiple agencies.<\/li>\n<p>&#13;\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n<strong>Also read |<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/travel\/culture\/amarnath-yatra-10th-batch-of-pilgrims-sets-off-from-pahalgam-devotees-hail-arrangements-19636177.htm\">Amarnath Yatra: 10th batch of pilgrims sets off from Pahalgam; devotees hail arrangements<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndian Army helicopters remain on standby for any contingency response,\u201d the spokesperson added. \u201cBy tracking yatra convoys between Jammu and the holy cave, the Army is maintaining constant situational awareness&#8230; seamless multi\u2011agency coordination ensures swift response and effective security management across the entire route.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So far, over 1.4\u202flakh pilgrims have visited the ice lingam of Lord Shiva, with over 4.1 \u202flakh registrations recorded online for this year.
