War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, will hit theatres on August 14, just three days from today. Ahead of the action drama\u2019s grand release, Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR attended the sole promotional event for the film, held in Hyderabad, and at the event, the duo spoke about each other and showed nothing but love and respect for one another.<\/p>\n

At the event, Hrithik Roshan<\/a> asked Hyderabad for a promise to love his \u201cbrother” Jr NTR forever and said, \u201cJr NTR and I started as co-stars, and we ended up like brothers in real life. I want everyone to give me a promise today\u2014will you give me a promise? I want you to promise me that you will love my brother the same way forever.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Jr NTR also had only good things to say about his co-star. While thanking Hrithik for accepting him with open arms, he said, \u201cSeventy-five days of working with you has taught me so much. I can\u2019t wait to get back with you on screen again; waiting for that. Thank you for treating me as your brother, and thank you for welcoming me with open arms. Sir, I come from South India, and thanks to Rajamouli, he has erased a lot of boundaries between South and North in film. But still, every South Indian will have a small hesitation about whether they will accept us. Thank you so much for giving me that beautiful hug you gave me on the first day.”<\/p>\n

About the Hyderabad event<\/strong><\/p>\n

The authorities had deployed over 1,200 police personnel to Hyderabad\u2019s Yusufguda Grounds for the pre-release event of War 2, which was held on Sunday, August 10. Not just this, fan convoys were also seen carrying flags of Hrithik and Jr NTR, making it a memorable event. To ensure high security, multiple levels of barricades, drone surveillance, dedicated fan enclosures, and rigorous entry controls were implemented. The level of preparation resembled a high-profile political gathering rather than a film promotion.<\/p>\n

War 2 advance booking<\/strong><\/p>\n

Just about a week before the film\u2019s grand release, the makers announced that advance booking for the action thriller is now open<\/a>, and tickets are currently on sale. The news also came with a special pre-release gift, as the makers dropped a new action promo of the film.<\/p>\n

The action promo features yet another deadly fight between Hrithik and Jr NTR. While sharing the promo and announcing the opening of advance booking, the makers wrote:<\/p>\n
