Fans have been eager to see how Jr NTR will step into Bollywood with War 2, and director Ayan Mukerji has finally addressed one of the biggest rumours. At a pre-release event in Hyderabad on 10 August, he spoke about the Telugu superstar\u2019s role and teased a surprise that\u2019s still under wraps.<\/p>\n

Responding to the buzz that Jr NTR only appears at the halfway mark, Ayan laughed it off.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are smart enough not to make a movie where he comes in only at the interval point. That much sense we have. But I can assure you that Jr NTR\u2019s entry sequence is one of the major highlights of the film, and you have to watch War 2 and discover that on your own.”<\/p>\n

War 2 Director Ayan Mukerji Says Big Surprise Waiting for 14 August<\/h2>\n

While the trailers and songs have already set high expectations, the director said audiences haven\u2019t seen the full picture yet. \u201cI know there\u2019s a lot of excitement, especially in this part of the country, to see the film because of our trailers and songs. But actually, I think everybody is in for a real surprise on August 14 when the film releases. Because the story of the film and the real soul of the film, we have not yet revealed at all. I am really looking forward to experiencing that.”<\/p>\n

War 2 \u2013 Cast, Story Universe and Box Office Clash<\/h3>\n

War 2 marks the sixth instalment in YRF\u2019s spy universe, with Hrithik Roshan returning as Kabir, Jr NTR as the antagonist, and Kiara Advani as the female lead. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, it follows the 2019 hit War.<\/p>\n

The film lands in cinemas on 14 August, facing off against Coolie, an action thriller featuring Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, and Upendra, with a special appearance by Aamir Khan.<\/p>\n

War 2 Cameo<\/h3>\n

The Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR film is set to feature an unexpected addition to its cast. While rumours had been swirling that Salman Khan\u2019s Tiger or Shah Rukh Khan\u2019s Pathaan might appear in the film\u2019s end credits, insiders confirm that neither superstar will make a cameo. Instead, audiences will be introduced to a new character played by Bobby Deol.<\/p>\n

According to sources close to the production, War 2 will not feature direct appearances from the YRF Spy Universe\u2019s leading agents, Tiger or Pathaan, though both will be referenced during key moments in the storyline.<\/p>\n
