Tesla India has leased a state\u2011of\u2011the\u2011art commercial space in Gurugram, adding to its expanding retail and service operations in the country. According to data analysed and verified by CRE Matrix, the company has secured a 33,000\u201333,475\u202fsq\u202fft facility at Orchid Business Park on Sohna Road, Gurugram, structured under a nine\u2011year lease starting from July 15, 2025.<\/p>\n

According to reports, the expansive space will house a full\u2011scale service centre, delivery hub, and showroom functions, consolidating Tesla\u2019s customer\u2011facing operations in a single location.<\/p>\n

The monthly rent has been pegged at Rs 40 lakh, bringing the annual rent to approximately Rs 4.82 crore. This marks Tesla\u2019s second showroom in India following its initial entry in Mumbai.<\/p>\n

The official leasing documents indicate that the move aligns with Tesla\u2019s broader aim to establish luxury-level retail and service infrastructure in major Indian metros. The leased space is strategically located within Gurugram, offering proximity to the Delhi\u2013NCR region\u2019s affluent residential and business districts, enhancing accessibility for buyers.<\/p>\n

The integration of sales, delivery, and after-sales service under one roof is designed to streamline operations and elevate the customer experience \u2014 Tesla\u2019s global retail approach. The decision to lease sace in Gurugram highlights Tesla India\u2019s long-term infrastructure planning and operational readiness in anticipation of broader adoption of EVs across the nation.<\/p>\n

Tesla\u2019s first physical presence in India was marked by the opening of its showroom in Mumbai last month, signaling a crucial milestone in the company\u2019s entry into the Indian electric vehicle market. Located in the upscale Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), the showroom spans approximately 5,850 square feet and serves as both a retail display and customer experience centre.<\/p>\n
