When it comes to Rajinikanth, fan celebrations know no bounds. The legendary superstar\u2019s upcoming film Coolie is set to hit theatres on August 14, 2025, and the frenzy is already in full swing. In a rare gesture that\u2019s now gone viral, an organisation named Uno Aqua Care has officially declared a holiday for its employees on the day of the film\u2019s release.<\/p>\n

A notice from the company, shared widely on social media, reads, \u201cOn account of the release of SUPER STAR RAJINI\u2019S movie \u2018COOLIE\u2019 we have decided to declare holiday on 14th August 2025 in efforts to avoid piled-up leave request to the HR department. We are going to celebrate the festival of 50th year of Rajinism by donating food to orphanages and old-age homes, distributing sweets to the public, and supporting anti-piracy efforts by providing free tickets for Coolie to UNO Aqua employees.”<\/p>\n

The circular further states that the holiday applies to all branches, including Chennai, Bangalore, Trichy, Tirunelveli, Chengalpattu, Mattuthavani, and Arapalayam.<\/p>\n

The release of Coolie coincides with the celebration of Rajinikanth\u2019s 50th year in cinema, making August 14 more than just a movie release date \u2014 it\u2019s a festival for fans. Overseas, the film\u2019s opening day advance sales have already crossed \u20b937 crore, setting the stage for a \u20b9100 crore-plus worldwide opening. Industry analysts predict that Coolie could deliver one of the biggest first-day hauls in Indian cinema history.<\/p>\n
