Affected passengers reported long wait times and difficulty reaching the airport due to submerged roads and gridlocked traffic.<\/p>\n<p>The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast \u201cthunderstorm with rain\u201d for the remainder of the day, with temperatures ranging from a daytime high of 33\u00b0C to a low of 25\u00b0C by night. Authorities warned of the possibility of further showers later in the day.<\/p>\n<p>Several key areas in the capital were hit particularly hard. Shastri Bhawan, R.K. Puram, Moti Bagh, and Kidwai Nagar witnessed heavy downpours.
