Either the BJP government is incompetent to answer these questions, or it is unwilling to do so.”<\/p>\nAs the BJP turns up the heat over Pahalgam remarks, Chidambaram in a post on X, said that misinformation is being spread. \u201cTrolls are of different kinds and use different tools to spread misinformation. The worst kind is a troll who suppresses the full recorded interview, takes two sentences, mutes some words, and paints the speaker in a black colour!”<\/p>\nHe also raised doubts over the National Investigation Agency\u2019s role in the probe, questioning the lack of transparency. \u201cThey are unwilling to disclose what the NIA has done all these weeks. Have they identified the terrorists, where they came from?” he said.<\/p>\nOther BJP leaders also reacted to Chidambaram\u2019s comments. BJP MP Gulam Ali Khatana said: \u201cPeople ask such questions when they are politically demoralised\u2026 We may disagree amongst ourselves, but we should not criticise it\u2026”<\/p>\nAAP MP Sanjay Singh, however, offered a more cautious response, stating, \u201cChidambaram may know what he is saying. The government has said that they were Pakistani terrorists. Pakistan has a history of spreading terrorism in India\u2026 All the terror attacks in India are backed by Pakistan.
