Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Rohit Purohit<\/a> and his wife, Sheena Bajaj, are all set to welcome their first child in 2025. The couple recently announced the pregnancy with a sweet post, asking for blessings as they step into this exciting new chapter.<\/p>\n

On May 15, Rohit shared a touching moment on his Instagram Stories, a screenshot from a video call showing Sheena peacefully asleep. Expressing his love for her, he added the romantic track Koi Itna Khoobsurat Kaise Ho Sakta Hai and wrote in the caption, \u201cPlease mujhe koi batao\u2026 (referring to the song) 12 saal se main ye hi soch raha hoon. Marogi toh nahi naa..?”<\/p>\n

In an interview with ETimes, Sheena spoke about her pregnancy journey. \u201cI conceived at the end of January, just a few days after our sixth wedding anniversary. Rohit has always loved kids and has wanted to have a child for the longest time. When we decided to start our family, we didn\u2019t expect it to take as long as it did.”<\/p>\n

Rohit, who is currently playing the male lead in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, added, \u201cI was in shock at first. Once the news sank in, I had tears of joy in my eyes. I couldn\u2019t react properly and had to leave for a shoot. We waited for the doctor\u2019s confirmation and the sonography. I\u2019ve always wanted to become a father since we got married, and now it\u2019s finally happening.”<\/p>\n

He further revealed, \u201cI\u2019m hoping for a daughter, one with a nature that\u2019s a perfect blend of Sheena\u2019s and mine. I\u2019m excited to take care of her. While I feel mentally prepared to be a father, nothing can truly prepare you until the baby arrives. I guess time will teach me everything I need to know.”<\/p>\n
