Surbhi Jyoti recently revealed a big secret about her role in the hit show Naagin 3. The actress, who rose to fame with Qubool Hai, said that she wasn\u2019t very comfortable doing Naagin 3 initially and had actually rejected the show. She added that she was convinced by a person close to her to say yes to the drama. Recalling her meeting with Ektaa Kapoor, the actress also shared her first reaction to the script.<\/p>\n

During an interview with Pinkvilla, Surbhi Jyoti opened up about doing the supernatural drama, saying, \u201cIt is one of the best decisions of my life. I\u2019m glad that I did Naagin.” She also revealed that Qubool Hai and Naagin 3 were two different shows where she got the chance to play unique characters.<\/p>\n

However, the actress also admitted that she initially wasn\u2019t sure about the show. She stated, \u201cI was not very convinced. I used to think that it\u2019s not my kind of acting. \u2018How will I do? How will I play this character?”<\/p>\n

Surbhi revealed that it was her husband, Sumit Suri, who convinced her to do the show. The actress stated, \u201cSumit said that \u2018If you want to do something in Television, why not do their number one show?\u2019 Naagin back then was number one.”<\/p>\n

Furthermore, she spoke about her meeting with Ektaa Kapoor, recalling, \u201cOmg, she narrates you a story and then she has that superpower on you. Agar voh uss time bolti na chitti ka character hai, mai voh bhi karne ko tayar ho jaati. Voh itne acche se narrate karti hai (At that time, if she had asked me to play an ant, I would have done that also. She narrates things very well).”<\/p>\n

\u201cI sat with myself and I was convinced that if Superman can actually fly, Spiderman can make a web and something like that, then why can\u2019t a serpent turn into a human? Why can\u2019t we have our own superhero?” she added.<\/p>\n

Surbhi went on to say that although the makers of Superman and Spider-Man have more money, time, and graphics, and their visual effects are superior, the\u00a0makers of Naagin 3 still managed to create a fantastic show with the little resources they had. Surbhi even referred to Naagin as the \u201cnumber one franchise” and commended the supernatural thriller\u2019s third season for its\u00a0storyline.<\/p>\n
