They should also review exclusions, including any restrictions relating to pre-existing conditions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"artctxt\" id=\"article-20021334-7\"><strong>Cashless treatment:<\/strong> Check whether the insurer has a network of hospitals in the destination and whether cashless treatment is available. Travellers should understand the procedure for seeking emergency assistance and getting hospital bills settled directly by the insurer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"artctxt\" id=\"article-20021334-8\"><strong>Medical repatriation:<\/strong> A policy should be checked for coverage of medically necessary transportation back to India.
