With Durga Puja approaching, SpiceJet has announced 22 special flights from October 10 to meet the expected increase in festive travel demand. The additional services will strengthen connectivity to Kolkata and Bagdogra, with flights linking these destinations to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and other cities.<\/p>\n

The special flights will give passengers more options to travel home and visit their families during the festive season. The services will operate during the Durga Puja period and the travel rush that follows.<\/p>\n

In a post on X, the airline said, \u201cWhen the festival gets bigger, so should the network. SpiceJet<\/a> is adding 22 special flights from October 10, strengthening connections to Kolkata and Bagdogra for the Durga Puja travel season. More connections to where the celebrations are.\u201d<\/p>\n

SpiceJet adds flights on key routes<\/strong><\/p>\n

The additional services will increase flight capacity on several routes connecting Kolkata and Bagdogra. SpiceJet<\/a> will operate extra flights between Kolkata and Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, along with additional services between Kolkata and Bagdogra.<\/p>\n


Passengers travelling through Bagdogra will also have more flight options to Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata during the festive period.<\/p>\n

Mumbai-Port Blair flight via Kolkata<\/strong><\/p>\n

As part of the expanded network, SpiceJet will also operate a Mumbai-Port Blair connection via Kolkata. According to the airline, passengers travelling on this service will not have to change aircraft at Kolkata.<\/p>\n

SpiceJet Chief Business Officer Debojo Maharshi said the additional services are intended to provide passengers with more travel options during the festive season, according to Zee Business.<\/p>\n

The additional connectivity to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Port Blair will open up more options for passengers.
