Indian travellers can use UPI to book and pay for participating experiences through the resort\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/images.cnbctv18.com\/cnbc-assets\/html\/mutual-fund.html?v=7.9&amp;page_type=article\" title=\"embedded-content\" width=\"100%\" height=\"370px\" frameborder=\"0\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"width:100%;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The development is aimed at expanding UPI\u2019s use for cross-border payments by Indian consumers travelling to Singapore. According to the companies, Singapore received 1.2 million Indian visitors in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership initially focuses on online payments. It could eventually extend UPI acceptance to other participating merchants within FOMO Pay\u2019s network.<\/p>\n<p>For travellers, UPI acceptance can reduce the need to use cash or enter card details for eligible transactions. The payment is made through the customer\u2019s UPI app, subject to the app and merchant supporting the transaction.<\/p>\n<p>For Singaporean merchants, accepting UPI provides access to Indian customers who already use the payment system for domestic transactions.RWS, located on Singapore\u2019s Sentosa Island, includes attractions such as Universal Studios Singapore, Singapore Oceanarium and Adventure Cove Waterpark, along with hotels, restaurants and retail outlets.<\/p>\n<p>NIPL, the international arm of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has been working to expand UPI acceptance and partnerships outside India.
