American Express said the services will continue to be available as a Centurion Card benefit.<\/p>\n<p>The services covered include travel bookings, Fine Hotels + Resorts (FHR), International Airline Program (IAP), The Hotel Collection (THC), meet-and-greet services, airport transfers and golf services.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/images.cnbctv18.com\/cnbc-assets\/html\/mutual-fund.html?v=7.9&amp;page_type=article\" title=\"embedded-content\" width=\"100%\" height=\"370px\" frameborder=\"0\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"width:100%;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Cardholders will continue to have access to a dedicated relationship manager and 24&#215;7 support, according to the communication.<\/p>\n<p>There is, however, a transition period.<\/p>\n<p>American Express has said that new bookings for travel-related services will not be available from September 7 through October 10. The same restriction is reflected on Amex&#8217;s India website and in its terms and conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The change means the service provider handling these requests will change, while the travel and lifestyle benefits themselves are set to remain available to eligible Centurion cardholders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comes amid a wider set of Amex changes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Centurion update comes after several changes to American Express&#8217; card propositions in India in recent weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Amex is set to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/personal-finance\/amex-to-end-reward-multiplier-programme-in-india-from-september-30-what-cardholders-need-to-know-19979176.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">discontinue its Reward Multiplier programme<\/a> from September 30, ending accelerated Membership Rewards points on purchases with select brands. The company says accelerated rewards will continue on eligible purchases through ShopWise, its e-voucher platform.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/personal-finance\/american-express-discontinue-two-credit-card-features-india-september-october-19982344.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The issuer is also discontinuing the &#8216;Check Your Spending Power&#8217; feature<\/a> from September 16 and the Emergency Card Replacement service from October 8. The latter will mean replacement cards follow the standard replacement process rather than the earlier emergency service.<\/p>\n<p>There have also been changes to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/personal-finance\/american-express-platinum-travel-card-changes-rewards-sept-10-lounge-rules-oct-1-19972594.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">American Express Platinum Travel Credit Card.<\/a> From September 10, the \u20b91.9 lakh spending milestone will no longer carry the earlier 7,500 Membership Rewards points, while the \u20b97 lakh milestone is being revised.
