Effective from October 26, the new international route will provide a direct air link between Bihar\u2019s Gaya and Thailand capital Bangkok, while supporting tourism, cultural exchange and economic activity in the region.<\/p>\n<p>The service will also bolster international connectivity from Bihar, while supporting tourism, cultural exchange, and economic development across the region.<\/p>\n<p>The Gaya-Bangkok service will connect two destinations that share deep Buddhist ties. Gaya is home to the revered Mahabodhi Temple, Bodh Gaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Buddhism\u2019s most revered pilgrimage destinations.<\/p>\n<p><br class=\"jsx-23e2c0867a4915ab\"\/>The site attracts thousands of pilgrims and visitors from Thailand and other parts of the world every year<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The new flights will offer a convenient travel option for pilgrims, leisure travellers and tourists looking to explore the spiritual and cultural heritage of India and Thailand.<\/p>\n<p>The service is also expected to benefit the tourism ecosystem in Bihar, including hotels, local transport and other travel-related businesses.<\/p>\n<p>Thailand continues to be a popular international destination for Indian travellers. IndiGo currently operates more than 140 weekly flights between India and Thailand, connecting Bangkok with Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Bhubaneswar.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/tags\/indigo.htm\">IndiGo<\/a> also operates direct flights to Phuket from Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata, and to Krabi from Delhi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gaya-Bangkok flight schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Gaya to Bangkok (6E 1083): <\/strong>The flight will depart Gaya at 13:15 pm and arrive in Bangkok at 17:50 pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bangkok to Gaya (6E 1084): <\/strong>The<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/travel\/indigo-celebrates-20-years-with-20000-free-tickets-who-is-eligible-how-to-claim-refund-19961087.htm\"> IndiGo<\/a> flight will jet off from Bangkok at 10:15 am and arrive in Gaya by 12:15 pm.<\/p>\n<p>The flights will operate every Monday and Thursday, starting October 26.
