{"id":30398,"date":"2026-08-04T05:34:14","date_gmt":"2026-08-04T05:34:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tezgyan.com\/index.php\/2026\/08\/04\/indigo-celebrates-20-years-with-20000-free-tickets-who-is-eligible-how-to-claim-refund\/"},"modified":"2026-08-04T05:34:14","modified_gmt":"2026-08-04T05:34:14","slug":"indigo-celebrates-20-years-with-20000-free-tickets-who-is-eligible-how-to-claim-refund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tezgyan.com\/index.php\/2026\/08\/04\/indigo-celebrates-20-years-with-20000-free-tickets-who-is-eligible-how-to-claim-refund\/","title":{"rendered":"IndiGo celebrates 20 years with 20,000 free tickets: Who is eligible, how to claim refund"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div data-article-id=\"19961087\">IndiGo has announced a special offer to celebrate its 20th anniversary by offering thousands of customers a chance to get their domestic flight tickets for free.<\/p>\n<p>As part of its \u2018Happy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/tags\/indigo.htm\">IndiGo<\/a> Day\u2019 campaign, called &#8220;IndiGoFree&#8221;, the airline will refund the fares of 20,000 bookings, up to \u20b910,000 per PNR, for eligible customers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who can avail the offer?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The offer is valid for customers who book domestic flights between August 4 and August 6 through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/business\/aviation\/indigo-to-decide-on-next-aircraft-order-in-2030-after-assessing-new-generation-planes-rahul-bhatia-19958847.htm\">IndiGo<\/a>&#8216;s official website, mobile app or its AI-powered virtual assistant, 6Eskai.<\/p>\n<p><br class=\"jsx-23e2c0867a4915ab\"\/>It is applicable to all domestic Economy Class and IndiGoStretch bookings, including both one-way and return journeys.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How will customers get free tickets?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Customers do not need to apply separately. All eligible bookings made during the three-day offer period will automatically be entered into the selection process.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/business\/aviation\/can-india-become-global-aviation-hub-indigo-rahul-bhatia-explains-19956986.htm\">IndiGo<\/a> said 20,000 bookings will be selected at random. Customers whose bookings are chosen will receive an email and WhatsApp message inviting them to answer a simple question.<\/p>\n<p>They will get three chances to answer the question correctly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How will the refund be credited?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Customers who answer the question correctly will receive a refund of their booking fare, up to \u20b910,000 per PNR.<\/p>\n<p>According to IndiGo, the refund will be processed within three to five business days.<\/p>\n<p>IndiGo launched operations in 2006 and is celebrating 20 years of service this year. It is currently India&#8217;s largest airline by market share. The airline operates a fleet of more than 430 aircraft and flies nearly 2,200 flights every day, connecting over 95 domestic and 40 international destinations.<\/p>\n<p>The airline carried more than 123 million passengers in FY26 and was named the Best Airline in India and South Asia at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2025.
