Under this initiative, RICOH LEASING COMPANY, LTD. has installed solar power generation equipment on the roof of Yonex\u2019s Niigata Factory Nagaoka. The electricity generated by this equipment is supplied to Yonex under a long-term agreement. This enables Yonex to use renewable energy generated by solar power at the factory without making an initial investment, while also helping stabilize electricity costs.<\/p>\n
Yonex has begun using renewable solar energy at its Niigata Factory Nagaoka through an on-site PPA. The 896.72 kW system is expected to generate about 850,000 kWh annually and cut CO\u2082 emissions by around 295 tons.
\nThe initiative supports Yonex’s Carbon Neutrality goals and expands its use of renewable energy across manufacturing sites.<\/p>\n

Under the \u201cCarbon Neutrality\u201d pillar of the \u201cYonex Environmental Vision 2050,\u201d Yonex has been expanding its use of renewable energy as part of its efforts to achieve carbon neutrality. In June 2026, Yonex began using renewable energy through an off-site PPA at four other factories in Nagaoka City, separate from Niigata Factory Nagaoka. This on-site PPA follows that initiative and will further advance CO\u2082 emissions reduction at Yonex\u2019s manufacturing sites. Moving forward, Yonex will continue to steadily implement effective initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of its business activities.<\/p>\n
