{"id":30141,"date":"2026-07-15T03:22:01","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T03:22:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tezgyan.com\/index.php\/2026\/07\/15\/punjab-and-haryana-highway-toll-rates-increased-starting-today\/"},"modified":"2026-07-15T03:22:01","modified_gmt":"2026-07-15T03:22:01","slug":"punjab-and-haryana-highway-toll-rates-increased-starting-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tezgyan.com\/index.php\/2026\/07\/15\/punjab-and-haryana-highway-toll-rates-increased-starting-today\/","title":{"rendered":"Punjab and Haryana highway toll rates increased starting today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div data-article-id=\"19945697\">Driving through the highways connecting Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Sangrur, Amritsar, Bathinda, Tarn Taran, Faridkot and Abohar in Punjab and Haryana will now cost \u20b95 and \u20b910 more for most private vehicles as revised rates from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) come into effect at several toll plazas today.<\/p>\n<p><strong>According to a News18 report, while the new toll rates have been notified at over 50 toll plazas across Punjab and Haryana, the following seven toll plazas will see an increase starting today:<br \/><\/strong><b\/><\/p>\n<p>Ghulal Toll Plaza (Chandigarh\u2013Kharar\u2013Ludhiana, NH-05)<br \/>\nPaind Toll Plaza (Sangrur\u2013Dogal Kalan, NH-52)<br \/>\nKot Karor Toll Plaza (Amritsar\u2013Tarn Taran\u2013Harike\u2013Faridkot\u2013Bathinda, NH-15)<br \/>\nLadowal Toll Plaza (Ludhiana-Jalandhar section)<br \/>\nJandiala Guru Toll Plaza (Amritsar stretch)<br \/>\nAbohar Toll Plaza<br \/>\nMaur Toll Plaza<\/p>\n<p>The increased toll rates range in each case from \u20b95 to \u20b910 for private cars, although the return trips will cost up to \u20b915 more. Commercial vehicles like buses and trucks will also have to pay at least \u20b915 more as highway toll.<\/p>\n<p>The revisions are part of a regular exercise to account for inflation.
