The previously proposed NOTAM regarding full runway closure on Mondays and Tuesdays is being withdrawn. Airlines will continue to update their schedules in accordance with the prevailing operational timings,\u201d the Srinagar airport posted on X.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cAirport operations will continue on all days with operational\/watch hours from 0800 hrs to 1700 hrs. According to CM Abdullah, the announcement had already triggered a wave of holiday cancellations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Monday-Tuesday closure was proving to be a major burden. I spoke to some people from the tourism sector just yesterday, and many of their groups had already started cancelling. Ever since this news broke, I have been constantly working on this issue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While the immediate crisis has been averted, the Chief Minister noted that infrastructure upgrades would eventually require a suspension of operations later in the year.
