While operational details are yet to be announced, the move signals Seychelles\u2019 interest in joining India\u2019s expanding digital public infrastructure ecosystem.<br \/>\nFor Indian tourists, the development could eventually mean smoother cashless transactions while travelling across the Indian Ocean destination known for its beaches, marine tourism and luxury resorts.<\/p>\n<p>India\u2019s Unified Payments Interface, or UPI, has rapidly expanded beyond its domestic market in recent years. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/personal-finance\/list-of-countries-with-upi-payments-travel-france-combodia-uae-nepal-ws-el-19921913.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Indian travellers can already use UPI for<\/a> merchant payments in countries including Singapore, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, the UAE, Qatar, France and Cambodia.<\/p>\n<p>The Seychelles agreement forms part of India\u2019s wider effort to export its digital public infrastructure model, often referred to as India Stack.
