In a way never seen before, it revolutionises overnight rail travel by combining comfort, speed, and contemporary conveniences.<\/p>\n<p>The goal of this highly anticipated train service is to follow in the long-distance success of Vande Bharat&#8217;s semi-high-speed fleet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw\u2019s announcement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\nDuring a Sunday event in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw affirmed that the country&#8217;s first Vande Bharat Sleeper Train would begin operations in September 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVande Sleeper is coming very soon \u2013 in September,\u201d Vaishnaw said. A special Vande Bharat Sleeper coach depot and workshop is being built near Bengaluru to facilitate operations; it is expected to be completed by early 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The new sleeper trains, 10 of which are currently being produced in Bengaluru by BEML and ICF, will be maintained and inspected at this future facility.
