After landing in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/tags\/jewar-airport.htm\"> Jewar,<\/a> the aircraft continued its onward journey to Bengaluru, where it was scheduled to arrive at 11:05 am.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe launch marks a significant step forward in the expansion of India&#8217;s aviation infrastructure, enhancing connectivity across Uttar Pradesh and the National Capital Region (NCR).<br \/>The inaugural arrival was met with celebrations at the airport. Until now, many passengers travelling between Noida and Lucknow either relied on Delhi airport or undertook long road journeys.<\/p>\n<p>Built under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited, a subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG, the project represents one of India&#8217;s largest greenfield airport developments. Phase I has been developed at an investment of approximately\u20b9 11,200 crore. The facility features a 3,900-metre runway capable of handling wide-body aircraft and is equipped with advanced navigation systems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key things travellers should know<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For travellers, the airport offers a new gateway connecting western Uttar Pradesh and the NCR with major domestic destinations. The return IndiGo service, flight 6E-2279, is scheduled to depart Noida at 6:55 pm and arrive in Lucknow at 8 pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New travel option<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Beginning June 16, Akasa Air will also launch daily flights from Noida International Airport to Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai, expanding travel options for passengers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More destinations from Noida Airport<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>IndiGo has announced direct connectivity from<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/business\/aviation\/jewar-airport-is-unattractive-and-costlier-for-passengers-say-airlines-ws-l-19903744.htm\"> Noida International Airport<\/a> to more than 16 destinations across India, significantly expanding travel options for passengers in Delhi-NCR and Uttar Pradesh.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enhanced regional connectivity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The airline will also offer seamless one-stop connections between several Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities and major metros.
