Aamir Khan\u2019s latest release Sitaare Zameen Par has released on Youtube through pay per view mode. And many celebrities have praised his decision. Hansal Mehta has also come out in support of Aamir Khan\u2019s decision. He took to his social media handle and penned a long note for the film.<\/p>\n

Taking to his Instagram handle, Hansal Mehta wrote a long note, \u201cSitaare Zameen Par hits that elusive sweet spot for me. It\u2019s the film Chhalaang could\u2019ve aspired to be. In fact, it\u2019s what Chhalaang would\u2019ve meant \u2013 had it been translated literally. Led, of course, by the most special people \u2013 children of a greater god, the ones with an eight-day week and hearts far bigger than our mortal ones \u2013 this film is personal for me. Deeply so. It made me laugh, yes, but also weep. Joyous, copious tears. As a film, it offers everything we\u2019ve come to expect from Aamir Khan over the years: entertainment, meaning, and yes, a touch of manipulation. But here there\u2019s no feeling of dishonesty in that emotional tug. I wanted to be taken on the journey. Some said Aamir overacted. I found him delightfully free, uninhibited, endearing, and completely present. The supporting cast especially Gurpal Singh and Dolly Ahluwalia were an absolute charm. Sure, the film follows a familiar, even predictable, template not unlike many of Aamir\u2019s earlier films. But this one brings with it freshness, heart, and an irrepressible joy. That\u2019s reason enough to celebrate Sitaare Zameen Par. I\u2019m a vocal supporter of the pay-per-view model, and I urge you to watch this smile of a film \u2013 now on YouTube.”<\/p>\n

Days after Aamir Khan\u2019s latest film Sitaare Zameen Par was released on YouTube with a pay-per-view option, it was reported that Apple device users can access it only after paying Rs 179. However, Aamir Khan has now clarified that the issue is due to a glitch and that his team is working to resolve it on an immediate basis.<\/p>\n

While Aamir Khan is not on social media, his production house, Aamir Khan productions, recently took to its official X handle and clarified on the issue. \u201cOur sincere apologies. We just became aware that the cost to rent our film Sitaare Zameen Par is reflecting as \u20b9179 on Apple devices. We are trying to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding,” it wrote.<\/p>\n

Aamir Khan has sparked a conversation around cinema affordability with the YouTube release of his much-anticipated film Sitaare Zameen Par. Recently, the actor-producer expressed concern over the rising cost of moviegoing and shared his vision to make films more accessible to the masses through his official YouTube channel.<\/p>\n

The investment in them was very high, so the prices of tickets and eatables also increased. Just like when you go to a five-star hotel, the same things that you\u2019d get elsewhere for a much lower price cost a lot more there because it offers many more facilities and a five-star environment.” He added, \u201cSimilarly, multiplexes have now become quite elite.
