The EU\u2019s Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) has turned deadstock from a margin problem into a documented compliance risk. The ban and derogations apply to large companies from July *<\/span>*<\/span>, *<\/span>*<\/span>*<\/span>*<\/span>; medium-sized companies are expected to follow in *<\/span>*<\/span>*<\/span>*<\/span>. A standardised disclosure format starts from February *<\/span>*<\/span>*<\/span>*<\/span>, requiring companies to report discarded unsold products by category, units, weight, reason for discard and treatment route.<\/p>\n

That makes July *<\/span>*<\/span>*<\/span>*<\/span> the visible deadline, but the buying season already underway is the real test. Autumn\/winter orders, return flows and warehousing contracts must now be planned around reuse before destruction.<\/p>\n
