The company is among 17 firms that recently received allotment letters by UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath for setting up projects covering solar energy, electronics, green energy, smart manufacturing, information technology and railways in the region.<\/p>\n

\nThe company is among 17 firms that received allotment letters by UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath for setting up projects covering several sectors, including solar energy and green energy. <\/p>\n
In all, the region will attract investment worth \u20b950 billion and all the projects are expected to generate around 12,000 jobs.<\/p>\n
The largest investment proposal came from CESC Green Power of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, which will establish a 3 GW solar cell and module manufacturing unit, according to a statement by the Uttar Pradesh Department of Information and Public Relations. The company is expected to invest \u20b938.05 billion in the project, which could generate around 5,000 jobs.<\/p>\n
Integrated Batteries India will set up a 4 GW solar photovoltaic cell manufacturing unit in the region with an investment of \u20b911.46 billion. It is expected to create around 500 jobs.<\/p>\n
Several companies have committed to prioritising local hiring, with some projects earmarking up to 90 per cent of the jobs for local youth.<\/p>\n
